United Way Services, Inc. in the tri-state area has roots dating to December 1928 opening as a Community Chest. In the years since its inception, our United Way has undergone many obvious changes—both in name and location. Despite the passage of time, the core focus of helping those most in need has and will not change. The tri-state area’s outstanding business, professional, labor, religious, and civic leaders give of their time and abilities unselfishly.
